I just heard the new Muse song, ha! Absolute cack! Don't get me wrong, I'll be pumping it out all day tomorrow and probably all summer, but the in the same way I pump out Dr. Beat, in absolute secrecy, a shameful pleasure. Worst of all it sounds just like the Scissor Sisters and boy do I hate those fuckers! And they throw in a bit of Bohemian Rhapsody harmonies in the chorus then.
I found this blog detailing the song. Interestingly enough, Britney Spears has a song "Do Something" which is so like the new Muse number you can easily intercut each and make a new song, which is in fact, a better song altogether! The only thing about the mashed up version is that the Britney Spears parts needs to be compressed a bit more to match the Muse parts. As it is at the moment theres quite an unsettling difference.
I've got a few ideas for some mash ups of my own with this one actually. Try this one, if just for the title... Queen vs. Muse: Supermassive Bottomed Black Girls.
