I was reading "The Final Say" in the current RTE guide and decided I'd do one for myself. What the hell, I was bored!

Charles Haughey, the three time leader of Ireland, died a week ago and was buried last friday. I don't have too many feelings on old CJ as I wasnt all that interested in the pols' while he was around. Many people say that he did a few bad things but he greatly improved Ireland, well thats fine and dandy but you could say the same for Hitler and Germany.
Anyway, people were allowed pass by his coffin and pay their last respects (and if they wanted, their last brown envelopes I suppose) to Charley on Thursday. Such was the demand, that many people had to be turned away as there wasnt enough time to allow everyone pass. The government, in their great wisdom, decided to put up a web cam to allow cyber morners view the body. Charlies Coffin Cam is still live so lets check in on "The Boss".
Preamble: Fibonacci may have once said, "That ass is so perfect it has to be cosmic!". If other parts of the human body fit the "Golden Ratio" then why not the ass? Is there a correlation between beautiful maths and a beautiful ass? Bunkum or fact? You decide! Bored one day, I decided to enter random words into googles image search. One such word was "lank". Amoungst rubbish I came across an image of some candid ass. "Not bad" I thought, "but surely theres better to be had". And I was right! After a quick rumble around the images on the site in question, I came across this masterpiece. Surely it is the greatest ass in the world!
Ha! I hear you mock, "tis but an ass!". I have proof of its divinity! Behold, it fits the Golden Ratio perfectly!
There are countless examples of where the body fits the golden ratio so why not this ass? We all know from school that maths don't lie! If Fibonacci himself were around today he'd definately endorse that ass!
Caroline Worely from Gosforth (yes I did google her but found nothing), decided one day in the late 90's that her bum was too big and got it chopped off. Now you can debate whether a big ass is good or not (well you can debate all you want but if you think it isnt you are wrong!) but look at what she did, she ended up with this scabby ass thing! It's not like she had a Fatman utility belt going around her hips or anything, it was just a nice sticky out bum! Damn, if she wanted to mutilate herself why not just get a piercing or tattoo or something, theres no need to be cutting off vital appendages.
Is it just me or has she got a bit of Sligozone.net going on about her too?
There I was, just about to post about a few of my drawings, with a few nudes near the end, when I get one of my drawings deleted by Photobucket for violation of terms of service. I'll take it as a complement regarding my draughtsmanship shall I?
They must be cracking (forgive the pun) down on pictures because I only read about American Drumslingers problems with Photobucket a few days ago.
The cover of the second VIP magazine, from 1999. I kept it for a good reason...
This is a photograph taken from the inside of said magazine. Notice that big white blobby thing in the window...
Yep! Its the reflection of the flash umbrella.
This is amateur to say the least. I have no problem with flash problems at candid shoots or fuzzy focusing at parties but this shot was set up, and they messed it up.
There were more problems in following issues but I couldnt be bothered highlighting these. More importantly, I had a look in a November 2005 issue expecting things to have improved in 6 years and of course they hadnt. Within another photoshoot, there it was, standing out like Mr. A in a primary school, the outline of a flashgun in a mirror.
... and as I thought, it was Johnny Stratman alright.
I was shocked to see Johnny Stratman in this montrosity, but at least Transporter 2 doesnt seem so bad now. I feel sorry for Jean Reno though, surely he can do better than shite like this.
Another update of the Chick Corea concert I went to last year, the original post can be found here.
This time its an audio recording I made of the evening, well the first 40 minutes of anyway, my phone packed up after that. I thought the sound was awful so I just forgot about the recording but upon reviewing it again recently I managed to clean it up with a hefty bit of eq'ing.
I'm only including the first 7 minutes of talking here. I'd love to leave in the music but I think even one or two downloads would kill my monthly download limit in no time. Anyway, the best bit is hearing how Chick Corea had use eating out of his hand.... charismatic bastard! Thats Scientology voodoo for you!
Most Haunted is a Most Awful program but I have watched it. Derek the psychic gets possessed every episode and often reveals shocking confessions from dead persons. Well its Marys turn this week. And its filmed outside the toilets! Sheer class!
"The magic is coming; can you feel the magic? Shazam!"
Ok so I'm dragging a bit on this one but I'll finish it all up with this post [probably]. In a nutshell, its Black Eyed Pea's "My Humps" mixed with Muse's "Supermassive Black Hole".
I did this while away from my main work station (business trip!). I put it all together on a laptop just using the crappy laptop speakers but I don't need any excuses cos my version is fantastic :) I worked out most of the mix in my head while driving around listening to the Muse track.
Upon returning I was most worried that the Hump vocals wouldnt sit down well into Muse track but to my surprise they arent too bad. As a matter of fact, its brilliant!
