"It doesn’t matter how good or bad the [Amazon Kindle] is, the fact is that people don’t read anymore... Forty percent of the people in the U.S. read one book or less last year. The whole conception is flawed at the top because people don't read anymore."
Well in that case, less than 10% of personal computers in the world are made by Apple, therefore Apple will fail. Just sounds like sour-grapes to me. Maybe they should have called it an iKindle to ensure success.

No reason to be sour.
ReplyDeleteThe Kindle costs too much, looks absolutely horrendous and doesn't even support PDF.

I still like the idea of an electronic book.

ReplyDeleteSounds like a typical Apple product.
The picture you linked to was taken by a cretin who doesnt like light over 3 lux. The unit is actually white, not "1980's smokey programmer station" beige.
The price is excellent considering you get a free high speed wireless internet connection with it.
It is sour grapes by steve jobbies, just try and buy one from amazon.com: "Due to heavy customer demand, Kindle is temporarily sold out..."
