Swedish Voting - Eurovision 2008
I was falling around the place when I saw this last night, I thought the guy had gone mental, but then I find out today he was doing it on purpose. He's actually Swedish comedian, Björn Gustafsson, and he was just taking the piss. Not sure how it went down in Sweden but I loved it :)

he is truly a rising star in sweden and made his big break-through during the swedish song contest this year.

ReplyDeleteYver, it's always risky when you attempt something like this. Taking a piece of national culture, putting it up in front of other countries out of contex, doesnt always work (see Ireland, turkey puppet) but the main thing is it generated a laugh. I'm sure a lot of people took the time to find out, who he was and what was he upto, and now like me, they know more about this Sedish comedian :)
