Cork County Council... Map FAIL

A thing of beauty isn't it... this is what you'll find on the Cork County Council site if you look for directions to the motor taxation office. It's homely, authentic, old school, vintage.... Long John fucking Silver would sell his other leg for a treasure map like this. Lets look at some facts about this map shall we:

1. It's on a website. An interwebby netpage... these days we'd expect a dynamic intractable map, something along the lines of an embedded Google Map thingy, not a just a jpeg.
2. Never mind that though, jpegs can be fine, but we'd at least expect a nice CAD drawn map or something.
3. Instead we get a scanned map....
4. A scanned, badly cut out map....
5. A scanned, badly cut out folded map....
6. A scanned, badly cut out folded and tattered map.
7. And finally, just for the cocks and dribbles... the aspect ratio of the image has been messed up with improper use of the height and width attributes in the img html tag [see original below]
   

*sigh* I guess it works though, and I guess we should be thankful that they at least put something up. That's the reality of Ireland right there, a prime example of the "ah sure, till do" attitude. "Irish Pride" is just a brand of bread it seems :-\
