I can't promise you a prize but you never know what you might get if you guess the correct amount (to the nearest Euro) contained within this 5litre water bottle. I've been collecting odd change on and off for the past 6 years in it and I spent yesterday evening counting it out.
I can tell you that the whole thing weighed 12.5 kilograms (2 stone) before I emptied it, and there were all kinds of coins within in (€1, €2, 50c coins, not just scrap). I'll give the answer in the comment section later in the week, so if you're curious about the total, comment now and subscribe to follow up comments.

Thanks for everyone who gave an estimate, I will now offer up the true value of coins contained within the bottle. But first, I'll quickly address each guess in turn.
notRuairi: €24 -- Do you really think €24 in any combination of coinage could really weigh over 2 kilograms? lol We'd need some stitching in our trouser pockets if money were than heavy :)
The Shape: €63.17 -- I guess you were feeling confident by adding in a cent value too. That or it was just your rebellious nature at work again :)
LazarusJD & Des: Higher, we must go higher...
So we are left with Stephen and BMD, with two high amounts. I think there was definite thought put into the two of these guesses. I think Stephen was working from previous knowledge of similar money collections and perhaps BMD was actually doing a little mathematics with the weight values I offered...
I can now reveal that the total in the bottle was a whopping €483.72. €140 was made up from €2 coins alone. By only a couple of Euro BMD is the closer guess. A prize will be whizzing its way towards your inbox later.
Thanks again to everyone!
Huzzah!
Oh man, I missed my chance to guess and win. So what's the 483.72 (my keyboard apparently doesn't have a Euro sign option) going to buy?
Yes, and you would have gotten the lovely prize BigMentalDisease got (although you would have had to get closer to figure of course, and the prize might have been slightly different for you :)
Money will probably be spent on boring groceries and petrol (or "gas" as you funny Americanos call it :)
PS you can always copy and paste the € symbol if you get stuck in future, or just use a capital E, that's an official symbol for the Euro too I think :)
