Dáithí Ó Sé isn't ever going away! He's going to keep rocking forever! I couldn't leave this wonderful musical reference of mispronouncing Michael Bublé's name as "Mivit- Michael Boobalow" alone. It needed something. It was so lyrical, but complex; it needed Canadian Prog Rock to set it off; it needed Rush! So I present, for your viewing pleasure: "A Rush of Lovely Shtuff!" (It really gets cooking at the one minute mark).
As the vocal ostinato continues, many auditory hallucinations will appear, including: "I've met Michael Boobalow", "I've bit Michael Boobalow", "I've had Michael Boobalow" etc.
Yes, Daithi is now a greater internet meme than even Boxxy! I was thinking recently of how it all started. I figured it all started (for me at least) with this image of Daithi I made for the 2009 Rose of Tralee. The fact that he went on to host it this year makes me feel very important.
What do you mean, "how could you forget"? You weren't around then... I think the facade is running thin. Quick, bolster it it with some more random innuendo!
I'm not sure what you're talking about, but I definitely read that post somewhere before, possibly in a nightmare, or while browsing through your archives.**
I presume that's why you leave old posts up, so new readers can browse through them.
As I mentioned, it was unforgettable.
** Alternatively, I may have seen it while googling 'daithi o se' 'gash', but the less said of those search results, the better.
I not sure what I was talking about either. I think I listened to the "Jive It Michael Boobalow" sound bite once too often, its started to melt my brain.
I think I gave a link to that post at the bottom of a later "Daithi post". That's probably when you saw it. I wonder what my Google page rank for "Daithi O Se" is at this stage. I must surely be near to passing out wikipedia entries and RTE.

I predict "Michael Boobalow" will be the new "Alan Smithee" for anonymous film crew in movie credits. One should setup a "Michael Boobalow" Facebook account. "Boobalow is a man of mystery. Only the dead have seen his face."

You guys just keep on giving, don't you.
I think I'll make this one my alarm tune so that Daithi is the first thing I wake up to each morning.

I laughed a lot!
Yes GG, how could I forget that pioneering post, going where no Rose of Tralee commentary has ever gone before, namely, upskirt.

Your best work yet. Straight on the phone as my ring tone.
And to think, I rescued this video from going in the Recycle Bin. The people know what they like.
