My Favorite Photographs Of 2010

Without a doubt these have been the most memorable images of 2010 for me. Perhaps not taken or published originally in 2010 but it was in January of this year that I first came across them. Pictured is actress Michelle Rodriguez, looking much resplendent, dressed in garb reminiscent of Native American influences. Using Native American decorations within fashion has become somewhat of a taboo, or indeed always has been so, but I think because the influence here is so slight and because of Ms. Rodriguez's own mixed heritage, no offence can be taken.

The reason I'm making a big deal out of these images, other than just liking them, is because they are a very good way for me to judge how fast the year has passed. Since posting them to my Soup.io stream I have been meaning to post them here on this blog. I thought about doing it various times throughout the year but I never managed to follow through. It seems like only yesterday that I posted them to Soup.

High resolution versions can be found at my Soup.io stream, and a link to the rest of the photographs in the set can be found there also. Click banner below for direct link.

Perhaps I am imagining it, but there is a touch of GT in the photos on the right, the tilt of the head, the smile & the sideways glance in the top photo and the calm dispassionate gaze & long cascading hair in the bottom photo.

Could this have subliminally influenced your choice or did you just like the Native American theme?

I must admit, that's a very interesting observation you've made! I didn't notice before, but looking now I can see what you mean. It wouldn't surprise me if there was something subconscious going on. I'm always trying to find a common thread to things that take my fancy, and women that I find attractive.

On the surface though, it appears my penchant was drawn by my interest in Native American and Mesoamerican themes and people. Away from these photographs, I was mostly unfamiliar with Michelle Rodriguez, but coming across these images completely arrested my attention. Everything about them just works for me.

Thanks.

On the subject of another long haired almond eyed curvy (in the proper sense) brunette, didn't you promise your readers a Jean Byrne post?

Other than this one? [link]

I've no real interest in doing another post on Jean Byrne at this point. There's far too much hype going around at the minute and it's kinda annoying me more than anything else. A big deal was made out of her last outfit and I don't know why. For me, her PVC furry-vagina suit was far more sensational. [link]
