the german on the 11th hour show last week admitted ireland was a colony of germany and they have written off the bailout money in the hope of getting the original 20 zillion back
the german people are notoriously frugal and are getting pissed off with all this debt malarky, they want involvent countries to just admit it
burning the bondholders is a bit extreme, how about we just dont pay them back ?
This Enda stuff would actually make a great blog on its own! Four or five years of him being Taoiseach and plenty of opportunities for daft poses and gestures. You could do one a week.

atoast2toast: The Germans had a great way for dealing with money lenders in the mid 20th Century, we should try that again for a while.
