* Unrelated, and yet somehow, it's become related, Kevin Myers talks about a proposed Che Guevara monument in Galway [ link ] and Declan Ganley is going mental on Twitter demanding that we all wake up to the Che conspiracy. It's funny reading what Ganley writes about Guevara: "a mass murdering psychopathic racist" [ link ] he almost sounds as if that stuff matters to him. Almost. Building a monument to Che Guevara in Galway, is just fucking bonkers, irrespective of whether he was "good" or "bad". What's next, an Obama monument in Moneygall? There are plenty of actual Irish people who have been forgotten about, how about honoring them?
