Christian Vander is to music, what Jesus Christ was to crucifixes. His Zeuhl music is immensely uplifting for me. Vander doesn't just perform music, he sermonises it, and with such vocal and physical animation. I often think that if Hitler was a drummer in a space-jazz band, scat singing about galactic peace, love, and harmony, he would look and sound a lot like Vander.
