From what I can gather, this BABYMETAL group, is a trio from a much larger Japanese teen "Idol" group, called さくら学院 (Sakura Gakuin) [wiki], and ages range from 12-15. As you can hear, they do a kind of Japanese bubblegum-metal cross-genre stuff, though I can't comment on their other songs however. I think the less you know, the better.Reviews on the Amazon.co.jp sales page for the single [amazon.co.jp], show that opinion is divided in Japan, with an equal split between 5 and 1 star reviews, and zero 3 star ratings. I'm not sure what mentioning these figures have to do with anything, but it's always good to throw in a few stats.
